PiZXel and this website are being built in the open, right now. Features will appear, change and disappear. Things will break. At some point your saved PiZXel may be reset or lost: we'll try hard to avoid that, and we'll be more careful as real people start using it, but it isn't a promise yet.

Please don't keep anything here you'd be sad to lose.

BEFORE YOU START

  • Write down your handle and PIN. There's no email and no account, so a forgotten PIN can't be reset. We can't tell who you are, which is rather the point.
  • This browser remembers you with a single cookie, so you won't need the PIN here.
  • Unused for 90 days, your PiZXel is deleted: handle, settings, saved data, everything. Using it at any time resets the clock.
  • What we store: your handle, a scrambled (hashed) copy of your PIN, when you last visited, and whatever your PiZXel's apps save. No names, no emails, no ad trackers. Page visits are counted anonymously, without cookies.
  • It's early days (see the warning above). Your PiZXel may be reset while we build.
